Simple Energy Scotland Ltd has emerged as a success story of recent times and is delighted to be part of the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce.
Founded in 2012 by John Wishart, it’s a family business specialising in Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s), which are required whenever a property is bought, sold or rented. The certificate gives information on the current and potential energy efficiency of a property. It details recommendations on measures which could reduce energy usage, and therefore help people spend less on bills and make their homes warmer.
Simple Energy Scotland Ltd is Green Deal Approved Organisation, with teams of accredited and experienced surveyors working across Scotland, ‘Our quick and professional service has been the secret to our success’ explains John Wishart, Managing Director, ‘We are regularly engaged in large projects, surveying hundreds of properties, but we are comfortable delivering both multiple and single survey work’.
An EPC is also required when applying for funding to install energy efficient measures and improve the EPC rating of a property. Lauren Adams Director of HR & Administration explained that, ‘information on what funding is available and to whom, can be confusing, our support staff are very knowledgeable and can answer questions and provide general guidance’.
Simple Energy’s growth has been fast and furious, Lauren Adams added ‘We have grown into a company turning over £2.4 million virtually overnight, and we continue to grow. Our aim is to put our customers first, and make life easier by providing a service that is high quality and value for money’.
